1. About Platoon Manager

Platoon Manager is a software tool used by a unit to track daily personnel accountability for its formations. It provides tools for recording duty status, scheduling and tracking absences such as leave, passes, TDY and schools, maintaining a personnel directory, posting a duty roster, checking availability on a given date, and producing accountability reports.

Platoon Manager is a convenience tool only. It is not an official system of record of the United States Army or the Department of Defense, it is not endorsed by them, and it does not replace eMILPO, IPPS-A, DTMS, DTS, or any other authoritative system. It does not grant leave, approve passes, issue orders, or make any determination of a soldier's status.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Access is by invitation only. An administrator issues a single-use invitation link that carries the platoons you may see and whether you hold administrative access. Invitations expire.

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify an administrator immediately.

3. Units, administrators, and members

Data is organized by platoon. Administrators are responsible for managing who has access, which platoons each account may view, and what is entered into the system. Your access may be added, restricted, or removed by an administrator at any time.

Platoon Manager is not responsible for decisions made by administrators or other authorized users, including who is granted access and what information they choose to record.

4. Authorized access

You may only access the platoons, soldier records, absences, duty entries, reports, and audit records you have been authorized to access.

You may not attempt to bypass permissions, access another platoon's data without authorization, probe or exploit security weaknesses, scrape the service, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that harms the unit or the soldiers in it.

5. Handling of personnel information

This system holds personal information about soldiers. Treat everything in it as For Official Use Only.

Access what you need for your duties and nothing else. Do not export, copy, forward, post, or discuss what you see here outside the chain of command and a legitimate need to know. You are responsible for complying with the Privacy Act of 1974, AR 25-22, and any other applicable law, regulation, and unit policy governing this information.

6. Accuracy and command responsibility

Accountability is a command responsibility. Platoon Manager records what users enter; it does not verify it. Entries may be wrong, stale, or missing.

Do not rely on this tool as the sole basis for reporting accountability, releasing a soldier, confirming that leave or a pass was approved, or any decision with legal, disciplinary, or safety consequences. Verify independently through the chain of command and the appropriate system of record.

7. Content you enter

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of what you enter. Do not enter classified information. Do not enter information you are not authorized to record or share.

Changes are recorded in an audit log that identifies the account that made them.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Platoon Manager to:

• Harass, intimidate, embarrass, or retaliate against any person.
• Record false or misleading information about a soldier.
• Store classified information or information beyond the purpose of the tool.
• Access data you have no official need to know.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

9. Availability and changes

Platoon Manager is provided on an as-available basis and is maintained on a best-effort basis. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and the service may be unavailable for maintenance, hosting problems, network problems, or without notice.

10. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or removed at any time, with or without notice, including on change of duty station, change of assignment, separation, or violation of these Terms.

11. Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

12. Disclaimers

Platoon Manager is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or that any record in it is accurate or current.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of Platoon Accountability are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of accountability, disciplinary consequence, missed obligation, or operational consequence arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the service.

14. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
